The last few days have been busy. I’m currently on antibiotics for a bad ear infection. Abigail had a good nephrology appointment on Monday, and her doctor wants to schedule an ultrasound to confirm that her kidneys remain healthy. 

 

Yesterday she had school, and one of her teachers told me she did really well. When I picked her up, she didn’t want to leave, which made my heart so happy. Tomorrow we have a full day of appointments at the University of Virginia. It’s hard to believe Christmas is next week and that her surgery is only 15 weeks away. 

 

The coming weeks will be full with the holidays, school, and appointments, including an appointment with Boston in January. We were also blessed to receive Disney-themed hospital gowns for Abigail, which brought a little extra joy to our week. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support.
