Day 8: Unfortunately, Gilbert is still in a coma. 

Our hearts are heavy as we wait by Gilbert’s side. We’re hoping the new antibiotics work to fight the infection in his throat. The doctors are doing all they can, but it’s hard not to worry. Please continue to send prayers and healing energy. 
 We remain hopeful that he will wake up soon and begin getting better.

During this tough time, everyone’s support has meant the world to us. Prepared meals would be really helpful for our family right now. It’s small things like these that keep us going and remind us that we are not alone.

Every little bit makes a HUGE difference to us. We are so grateful for the kindness and care we are receiving from our community.
