Back to the apartment! 
It’s been a long three weeks since I was admitted, definitely the hardest three weeks of my life. But I made it and this morning we finished packing up my room and got the heck out of that hospital! My cell counts are great but I am still immunocompromised until I get all of my vaccinations (like MMR) in six months. I will be going to the outpatient clinic daily for at least a week or two in case I need infusions of blood products or electrolytes and to be checked for graft vs host symptoms. I will most likely experience some symptoms but hopefully minor like a rash. It is a pleasure to be outside in beautiful weather, to be in charge of my own food, to take a shower in a real shower and a nap in a real bed!!
