11-28 Update on Kendra: Thankful!

We are so thrilled to share this update from Steve and Joni and to see Kendra's smile!

"Although Thanksgiving may not have been exactly what we planned for, make no mistake…we are very thankful for the prayers that are being sent and heard and the progress that Kendra is making.

The last two days have been very quiet days and ones that Kendra rested most of. We did find out from the infectious disease department that the antibiotics are already doing what they need to do and progress is being made. This is an enormous answer to prayer! Additionally her EEG came back negative. God continues to be great!!

They are planning to move her out of the ICU in the next day or so. They told us she would likely be hospitalized another 7-14 days depending on how she continues to progress.

After some persuasion, Kendra did convince the staff to allow Joni and I to take her for a walk. It was much needed vitamin D.
