The Manning Family
Today marks one week into this cycle. She has had 2 chemo days and one full week of dreaded steroids. Mood swings, food cravings and exhaustion are the main things Willow has been up against. Thankfully tums and zofran have kept the tummy troubles at bay. We are currently dealing with an insurance issue on an extremely expensive infusion Willow needs. It's a constant reminder of the silent battles we face. Her team has been amazing about fighting and advocating for her, but we will do what is needed to give her the best chance. This is the last week she will have good counts, the coming weeks her body will show the effects of chemo. Bridge walks, zoo trips, meals out as a family and the icing on the cake was getting too watch Artemis ii launch for it's trip around the moon. Willow has also entered the jr. Ranger competition, you can find a link on Facebook to not for free daily!
Thank you for all of the love and support.
