Both Lindsey's and Hollis's surgeries yesterday went well as reported by their surgeons.
Lindsey's pain level will be the biggest hurdle for her for the next several days, along with not being able to see Hollis, who is in another room.
Hollis is still critical condition this morning, but her initial scans for the liver showed good flow. We pray that it continues to show positive response, and that the rest of the body will accept it's newest organ. There is more exhaustive waiting and testing for Hollis for the next 2-3 days that will be crucial for her continued success and steps toward recovery.
Both Lindsey and Hollis are under constant care and supervision. We want to send thanks to both teams of medical staff, from surgeons to nurses, that are watching over them like angels. Please pray for their continued recovery and successful acceptance of Lindsey's gift to Hollis.
