Wednesday morning update on Jase.
Jase did well overnight with sleeping on his back and side which was needed in order to do the biopsy of his kidneys. Right now biopsy is planned for around 1pm.
They are going to remove him off the constant dialysis right before the biopsy and then at that point will be the determining factor if he can start to recover some kidney function on his own and his blood work stay healthy, or they will have to do a tunneled central line and continue intermittent dialysis.
After the procedure they may start to transition us out of ICU if he can stay off the continuous dialysis.
So much will be determined off of this biopsy and how he reacts to being off of the constant dialysis. Today is a big day.
