8/25/2026 Jones Family Update

After getting home on the afternoon of the 19th we got settled in that evening. Woke up in the morning to a flood in our backyard and it kept rising. It soon flooded into our shop and into the apartment that we rent out to a tenant. God didn’t want us to rest quite yet. We had all hands on deck to move and lift everything out of the water and then when it receded we were able to get right to work cleaning up.
Since then things have been well. Ethan has been in school since last week and now Jase has started his first day today.
Jase has dialysis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 4 hours each time. Ethan has started in his medication to help prolong his kidney function. He will be monitored monthly for urinalysis and every 6 months for his blood cultures. All we can do is move forward and create a new “normal”.
