Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick update on John. Early Monday morning, John had to go to the emergency room after developing a fever, headache, and some body aches.
After several tests, the care team identified a standard cold virus (rhinovirus) along with a complicated urinary tract infection. Because of his history and the fever, they admitted him to the hospital’s observation unit to receive targeted IV antibiotics and close monitoring.
He is in good hands and resting comfortably while the IV antibiotics do their work. A few incidental findings came up on his scans that require standard follow-up with specialists, and our team at City of Hope is having all image files sent directly to them to review alongside his baseline scans.
As a reminder, John’s overall oncology status remains strong, and his recent Signatera ctDNA testing remains completely clear (0.00).
