Well, this week we... closed on our house here, have given some tearful goodbye hugs, Mike and Joanna went to a kid-inclusive F3 workout, and of course we hit up Buc-ees for souvenirs.

Last night we enjoyed our last family dinner with my parents in their house before we leave town, and today they left for Canada on an epic road trip to celebrate Grandpa's retirement. (They plan to move to IL soon.) 

Today we'll get everything packed up in the car and trailer and enjoy one last swim in the pool before lighting some fireworks. And tomorrow we'll hit the road for Illinois!

We're still praying for the details of our home purchase in Glendale Heights, IL. We're clear to close, finance-wise, but there have been some delays, and we're hoping to keep our closing date of 7/8... or at least stay close to it. Staying in a hotel is fun, but not for too long. :/
