Thank you all for all of your prayers and support. Last Wednesday we had a real answer to prayer (apologies for the delay in updating you all). The doctors had told us that we may not be able to leave the hospital before Elijah’s birthday at the weekend. Her blood test on the Wednesday afternoon showed a complete turnaround (hemoglobin went from 6.8 to 11.2 as an example), and we were able to go home that evening! She has been feeling much better since, although we have been told to be careful with her interacting socially during the end of this phase and today is actually the last day of delayed intensification treatment. 

The plan is to start interim maintenance 2 (last primary treatment phase) next Wednesday if she passes the blood counts thresholds, so she will have a short break after today until at least then.

Elijah had a great birthday with new Star Wars LEGO sets being the highlight!
