Quick update

I had to take Sky to the ER last night. She was not in a good way and had a fever which means straight to the ER when you're a chemo patient. She's had a lot of tests to check nothing untowards going on and everything looks okay so far although we're still waiting for one test to come back. The doctors just feel it's the toll of the chemo on her body rather than any infection.

We got up to our room and to bed at around 3:30am, although Sky did get some sleep in the ER so it wasn't too bad.

She's had some blood transfusions overnight and this morning and is doing much better now. We'll be here for at least a few days whilst they monitor her but as much as it's a hassle being in hospital it's a relief to see her more comfortable.

so sorry you had to deal with that Michael ... Chemo is so strong on such a little body ... so glad for the ER staff getting right on with tests ... the boost Sky will get in hospital and the love from family and staff along with many prayers will restore her home soon I'm sure ... thanks for the extra update at such a difficult time xxxxx

Continuing to pray for all of you. May Sky recover quickly, may you all know the loving strength of the Lord, and may all the medics involved be compassionate, as well as proficient, as they care for Sky and you.
