Weston had a good day today! Weston got out his ART line which was the IV in his left arm that monitored his blood pressure. His blood pressure is now being monitored by a cuff on his leg. He also got the IV taken out of his foot the other day. Now he only has an IV line going in by his right shoulder and a pacing wire. They are also feeding him more and he was up to 50ml of breastmilk every three hours, they have a goal of 90mls.

Started a med called ivabradine to help with the high heart rates and he is responding well, he went from 190s to 130-150s so that really good. Also means his blood pressure has been behaving. Did another blood transfusion today to help bring up his red blood cell count while we wait for his body to start making them for him. They will start weaning the pain meds and anxiety meds tomorrow so hopefully we have an ok day tomorrow.

Weston got to sit up in a new little chair today and he sure liked it! Also got lots of snuggles today!
