Hi Everyone! I will try my best to post regular updates on this site. Before I go further, I'd like to extend another massive THANK YOU to everyone here who has shown support, donated meal delivery gift cards and funds, delivered home-cooked meals, and helped with our boys.
As of last week, I finished my first round of chemo (for me, one round is a three-week cycle in which I get all three drugs week one, then only one chemo drug weeks two and three). That means round two of chemo starts tomorrow with all three drugs again.
So far side effects have been minimal and well-managed. Fatigue will hit me out of nowhere, but has only really knocked me out two days so far. Other than that, I've just needed to give myself the rest I need. I've avoided nausea and vomiting which is great!
I am still eating well, sleeping well, and exercising everyday. I truly think those things are making the chemo manageable so far.
