Thank you to our community

Hi all, 

Lau again. 

I wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you who have reached out to us. We are very aware and will be forever grateful to our community for walking with us these past 8 days. 

Thank you to all of you have offered/ signed up for meals, snacks, fruits, flown across the country to support us, picked Teo up for playdates, offered to take the other kids for playdates, dropped off treats for Andrea, came to babysit the kids, brought extra bedsheets for the kids, dropped off toys and activities for the kids, dropped off extra car seats, offered a shoulder to cry on, visited Andrea, and most importantly, thank you for all of you who have prayed for Andrea and her family. 

This is a very challenging journey. SMA syndrome is incredibly challenging. Anyone who knows Andrea knows how amazing she is. How determined and dedicated she is. She is already making great strides only 8 days post surgery!

I’ve always known Andrea loves her friends and her community. However, these past few days, I’ve come to realize how great her gift for fostering community truly is. She had 16 friends and family members attend her music and canine therapy today! 

I am certain that visitors, encouraging messages via the support page, text messages, and phone calls are what will help Andrea keep going. Please make sure to text her, send her messages, voice messages, and even reach out to Joe or me (650-796-9477) to make sure you can go visit her if you are in town! I know she would love to see and talk to every single one of you!
