Hard to believe two weeks have already gone by! Cristiano has been working hard and enjoying his time here, especially with his speech therapist!  He loves having the opportunity to "speak" his mind!  We have learned, what we already had assumed, Cristiano is OPINIONATED and IMPATIENT!!  It's so amazing to watch him work hard and make his choices, and equally hilarious as he rushes his therapist to do what he wants her to do!!  

In the beginning of the week, Cristiano had been giving his DMI therapist a hard time, probably because it is his last therapy of the day, and he is just tired from his hard work in his previous 3 therapies. Thankfully, this week his Speech therapist has had openings during this time slot, and she stops by with the Eye gaze device, which has been very motivating for Cristiano.  Normally Cristiano is motivated by looking at himself in the mirror, but if his Speech therapist is in the room he keeps turning his head around to look for her, so now we have learned just to face him in her direction at all times.
