Greyson was not able to be extubated yesterday. He is not quite tolerating the CPAP trials as well as they want, so they are going to keep doing the trials to exercise his lungs and get him strong enough for extubation when he is ready.
Greyson’s loose stool has not gotten worse so they are going to increase his feeds and see if he will tolerate them.
They are going to do an EKG today to monitor his heart.
They have upped his lasix frequency as he is quite swollen in his lower extremities.
They have weaned a lot of his sedation medications so they are starting to consider what other reasons there may be for him to need the foley. One thing they are considering is his spine health. Right now, they are just watching the situation but they may look at his spine soon. 💚🧡🎗️
