Greyson desated a little overnight and had a slightly low temp. They drew cultures and started him back on some of the antibiotics they had stopped out of an abundance of caution.
They were hoping to extubate today but Greyson is not doing quite as well as they want on the CPAP trial so they do not plan to extubate today. They think he needs to get a little bit stronger so that he can handle breathing on his own.
Because Greyson is unable to be extubated today, they are going to do a chest CT to make sure there’s nothing brewing that is preventing him from being able to be extubated. 💚🧡🎗️
