Greyson had a quiet day (which is always a good thing in the PICU). They were able to successfully wean his vent a little bit and he is back on auto mode. The vent is still doing most of the work but we are happy with this small improvement.
They did an ultrasound of his gallbladder and it showed gallstones and gallbladder sludge but they said there are no obstructions.
They removed his foley around noon today and he has not peed since. They gave him lasix to try to help but so far that has not been successful. They will probably cath him to help him pee and if he continues to not do it on his own, they will replace his foley.
Also, he is back on one of the medications to raise his blood pressure. Sedation medications lower your blood pressure so they are constantly trying to balance sedation and blood pressure. 💚🧡🎗️
