Mike is slowly showing improvements so Praise the Lord! His kidneys, liver, and hemoglobin are showing improvement. Not much improvement on lungs yet. Each of his lungs is about 3/4 deflated. So we will need to continue breathing treatments for awhile. Mike wanted me to add to the "blog" today... "Tell them my pain is 10/10 the worst it has been". Clearly he is still in so much pain so we are doing another CT today of his abdomen. This will give us some idea if there is anything left going on in there. The infectious disease doctor comes in everyday and she discovered one of his drain tubes was growing yeast. We are hoping that’s the reason why his WBC are rising. They were 28,000 yesterday and are now down to 23,000 today. We are hoping with the new anti-fungal medication, that will show improvement for the WBC and fever too. Right now I think we are at a “stable” point and as long as things don’t start popping up like blood clots, MRSA, or pneumonia.
Please pray for Mike's CT scan. Pray that there is nothing new discovered in his abdomen. Pray that his pain starts to improve.
