I saw the surgeon on Monday and again today and will again on Friday.  She is cleaning and changing bandage each visit.  It is getting smaller and was tiny tiny today.  So its almost closed.  She also took another culture today to be sure the bacteria is gone.  She scolded me for putting weight on that foot and said i must wait until the wound is fully healed.  So i know i need to stay in my wheelchair or start using the knee scooter instead of crutches and putting my foot down while doing so.  I cant carry my left leg  with crutches because my good knee is starting to act angry.  Very angry.  So I need to be patient and kind to my knees and feet. 
I am still stuck here unless i have lou rolling me around the building.  I cannot be walking across the bridge on crutches yet. I did it 4 times already because of rain and i thought i was pretty good at it.  But its not helping my healing.  
Sorry i missed talking with many of you Sunday at church,  but i had to get home before lou left for work.  If it doesn't rain Sunday,  I will see you then!
