Today i had 2 appointments.   One with the surgeon for my 7 week post op.  She flushed, cleaned and bandaged my wound again and said it looked really good.  It does. She also told me that the infection was most likely just superficial because of the blood work results. This is the best news, althoug  we still aren't out of the woods. Next, I went to a different location for my appointment with infectious disease doc. She also said it looked good and there was no reason to change dosage or type of antibiotic because the antibiotic seemed to be working. I am on day 6 of 10.  I feel good and sooo ready to walk again.
