- Yay! I saw the surgeon again this week on Friday morning. Wound is almost completely closed and the culture taken on Wednesday showed no organisms seen or growth in 48 hours. Praise God, the antibiotics worked. Thank you, Lord. I see the surgeon again on Tuesday when she will open bandage again and hopefully my wound will be completely closed. If it is, i can start walking on it, in my boot, with support of course. That being said I plan on just l sitting here until then, with my leg elevated, in the bed or recliner. It feels best this way and will obviously heal quicker than if i had it hanging downwards in the wheelchair. So please come visit me this last weekend so i dont lose my mind.
