Tenekia had her first neurology appointment today and they ran more tests. All tests still show no definite cause for the stroke. Her physical therapy begins on September 2 with another MRI appointment scheduled for September 17. She'll start occupational therapy when physical therapy is complete. After occupational therapy, she'll move to speech therapy. It's still a long road ahead physically.
At the same time, her housing situation has become more urgent. Her landlord has written a formal request asking for substantial payment before taking steps toward eviction. Our greatest need now is securing Tenekia's housing.
