Weight Bearing Has Begun!

Happy Saturday to you all!
This week, Dad was able to start putting weight on his foot! As expected, being able to do so has made standing up and getting around much easier. He’s been walking a little bit more every day. His leg-ankle-foot is a little tight and weak after a month of non-use, so he’s looking forward to physical therapy starting towards the end of the month.
Mom is counting down the days til she is home and back in her own bed. Please be praying that Jesus would be gracious to extend her short term memory so that she could be less worried about where she is and where dad is/why dad isn’t with her. She’s been so touched by the many, many visitors she’s received and has been after me to finish writing thank you notes!
After such an immense outpouring of donations, we’ve been able to cover so many tangible needs. It’s your prayers & checking in is the biggest request at the moment.
