Following Commands! August 7, 2026

Steve is finally alert!  They have reduced all of his sedation medication, and he is opening his eyes, looking around, and following commands!  This is the first time in 38 days that he has been able to meaningfully respond.  While he is still sleepy from the pain medications, he is on his way to being awake.  This is a huge improvement from even 3 days ago.
