My mind spins when I think of what I am thankful for and the many blessings we have! Most of all I am thankful for Jesus and dying on the cross for our sin so we get to spend eternity in heaven!! Everyday we long for heaven where our bodies will be perfect, we will be free from all pain, we won’t have 1 worry or responsibility, no more therapy, no more feeding tubes…how wonderful that will be!
Something I have been struggling with this year is how can I be thankful for this difficult journey we are on…somedays it’s hard to see the good in all the appointments, the therapy, feeding struggles and the list goes on…but we know Gods plans are so much better, if we keep our eyes focused on heaven our struggles seem to fade and we see life through Gods lenses and maybe this journey isn’t about an easy comfortable life but a life full of Gods power when we are weak, and growing stronger in our faith!
