Things didn’t seem to be progressing much….ENT had scoped his throat and confirmed he wasn’t swallowing and didn’t have a gag reflex….that can be very dangerous if he aspirates….he was being fed by an nj tube and had to be suctioned every couple hours….the Dr was talking about doing a stomach twist ( I don’t remember the right terms for it) but it would be to prevent any aspiration….it was permanent and couldn’t be undone….i knew its not something i wanted and so we we asked for prayers specifically for that area….he was still on respitory  support and Dr started talking to us about having a trach placed so we could start preparing to go home in the near future….both surgeries I knew I wanted to avoid if at all possible….and then I started reading,researching,praying asking our church family over and over again to pray for healing….and I then started discovering a new topic I would have never put my finger on if it wasn’t for my sweet boy and that’s functional neurology….I was a limited what I could do for him but since he was receiving my breast milk I knew that was healing for his body and I started taking arnica along with an antioxidant green drink….The Lord heard our prayers and healed Stetson in a way we felt so overwhelmed and blessed….knowing from that day forward we have nothing to fear Gods got this….it started with the nurses having to suction him less and less….then a small gag during a suctioning and we noticed no more saliva running out of his mouth….the ENT had confirmed he doesn’t swallow and has no gag reflex but God….is the ultimate healer….his breathing was also getting better and so one day his Dr asked if we want to try and remove it and see how he does…. we said absolutely knowing that God will be there and heal him….And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Genesis 2:7 
I knew the same God that created man was the same God today and he still has the power to breath the breath of life into Stetsons lungs….and YES YES he did!! God is so so good…..he was removed that day after being on respiratory support for 23 days….
