-Stetsons story part 1-
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. James 4:14,15
The minute Stetson was born the Drs and nurses started working on his little body to get him to cry and take that first breath! I knew I’d hear it at any moment but it just didn’t happen… the room started filling with more Drs and nurses and then they told me they will need to take him down the hall to the NICU where they can keep working on him ….Off they went with my limp and lifeless baby! It seemed like the cruelest thing anybody could do to a mother! I asked the nurse will he be okay? she didn’t give me the answer I was wanting to hear she said “they are working on him and taking good care of him, you have the best team of Drs caring for him!” ( And we truly did!!) Orla went with them and once they got to the NICU they instantly put him on a ventilator…. From the time he was born till they placed the vent was around 20 minutes …. but his heart never stopped beating….
