Today, Ella received her stem cell treatment with Dr. Proefrock in Arizona and she truly amazed us every step of the way. She handled the travel like a champ and was calm, happy, and content throughout the entire appointment.

Dr. Proefrock was able to administer over 350 million stem cells through a lumbar puncture, with additional cells delivered intranasally. Ella was also given a special nasal spray designed to stimulate key areas of the brain, helping the stem cells begin their work right away.

During her assessment, Dr. P identified some issues in her shoulder joints and signs of anemia in her blood work,  findings we’re grateful to be aware of moving forward. Throughout it all, he was incredibly gentle and kind. Ella felt so comfortable with him and  she even smiled, tugged on his beard, and never cried once.

Dr. Proefrock was impressed by the quality of Ella’s health, which he said contributed to the exceptionally high number of stem cells they were able to collect and reinfuse. That was such a gift to hear.

We wrapped up the day with a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) session to help put her stem cells under pressure and jumpstart their healing work in her body.
