Sunday Pupdate

We are so grateful to have Stella back home, but goodness, recovery is quite the challenge!

The poor girl has been through so much and doesn't understand why she can’t move like she used to. Whenever Penny and Bosco start barking and running to see what’s going on, Stella desperately wants to join the commotion. She is trying so hard—I’ve already had to catch her from "seal-diving" off the couch a few times because she just doesn’t know her own limitations yet! 🤦‍♀️ (Check out the short videos attached to see her determination in action.)

It’s heartbreaking to watch her struggle. We know how badly she wants to be back on her feet and feel like herself again, but rebuilding her strength is going to take time and patience.

The vet sent us home with physical therapy exercises, but since canine rehab is brand new territory for us, I’ve reached out to the rehab facility. We’re hoping to bring her in so the professionals can walk us through the exercises hands-on and show us exactly what cues and progress markers to look for.
