The Two Week Crunch!

Standing in Faith for Eva

We are halfway through week two of daily drives to Kansas City. Eva has finished her radiation, which we have found has shrunk the cancer. Eva started her five days of chemotherapy yesterday. She says that it is not terrible and she felt well enough to go see the PSU cheerleaders perform at last night's Lancer basketball game. I walked in this morning to find that the track coach at Baxter has set up an amazing fundraiser to run for Eva and although I cried, my heart is bursting with the love I have received from my work family. William is taking Eva everyday this round of chemo and we have to have the bone marrow increasing shot on Sunday. This shot is one that we used last time and its sole purpose is to force her bones to make good, clean, marrow quickly. If you know or remember growing pains, it is like a jump start to a full body growing pain for multiple days. As a family we are not looking forwards to this. Knowing how hard it was is making this extra nerve wracking. If you are looking for specific prayers, we ask that this chemo works and that this shot is not overly painful for her this time.
Keep those prayers coming!
