In the midst of all my plans, God shows up and seems to remind me that His plans are His alone. Throughout yesterday’s appointments each time I prayed, I kept hearing God say, “my will be done”. Essentially putting this mama in her place. Today we got the call that scans showed this chemo regimen to not be working. Instead, we are starting a new five day regimen on Monday. I don’t know what that looks like, I don’t know how we are going to figure out work schedules and bill paying, but I know that this is what we are doing. I don’t know what chemo combo she will be on, but Dr. Thompson says we need to switch to this now. So I come peddling prayers again. There were three chemo options given to us, this is option number two. We NEED this one to work. We NEED to kick cancer’s butt. I NEED Eva. So I ask again, start those prayer chains, pray without ceasing and I am going to change my prayers up. I understand that it is His will to be done and not mine, but I HAVE to believe that He loves her as much as I do and wants her to be healthy and happy.
