Today was a good day.  It was one of the answers that we and so many of you have been praying for! Thank you!!

We were able to spend the morning praying and worshiping together.  It is a rainy and cold day here in AZ. But, days like today are one of my favorites.  We grabbed some lunch and went to the cancer center where they did his bloodwork and then we waited to see if his liver numbers were down so we could proceed with treatment or if they would be sending us home.

I think I refreshed the app to see his numbers at least 50x in 20 minutes.  
Finally, they called us back and were doing his vitals and his weight and that refresh was the one where all of his numbers were there.  They are PERFECT!! They look so good.  His liver numbers dropped down by more than half. His liver is not having to work harder than it should anymore and is not showing damage. What a miracle!  We were both so happy! I showed it more on the outside while his was more on the inside. ;) 

They started treatment and I felt like this weight I have been carrying around for a week now was gone.  I think I will finally sleep a little better.  The worry and unknown is hard and has left me sleepless the past few nights. 

Driving home we talked about how grateful we are that so many of YOU have been praying, fasting and sharing all the great things with and for our family!  There is power in prayers and there is power when you have an army behind you praying on your behalf.

Next week we meet with the doctor and they will run the BIG numbers in hope that his specific cancer numbers have not only gone down, but gone down enough that he will be eligbile for transplant once again.  So please keep those prayers coming.
