The chemo kicked in a little more for Todd, in different ways. He has continued to be very nauseated, he started throwing up last week and not having much of an appetite. Over the weekend he had a really nasty rash show up on the same arm as where his PICC line was. It has little blisters all around it. He sent in pictures to the nurse/PA and they said to just watch it and let them know if it breaks open (we really do not want them to break open as it could easily get infected). So he continues to just baby it and watch it. They put him on a stronger cortisone cream so hopefully over time that does what it needs to. His hair has fallen out. He said if he touched his arm, hair would just go everywhere and when he was eating he looked down and hair was all over his plate. So he just shaved it all again so he wasn't finding hair all over his towels, bedding and food.
He continues to sleep a lot but is doing really well overall. He heads back to Mayo tomorrow for more bloodwork and will find out a little more about this rash. Hopefully he will still be on track to be able to head home the end of this month!
