HEART FELT HALLELUJAH 🙌🏼😇🙌🏼

Shane has been released from the hospital! The 1st 2 weeks are extremely critical to care with caution and minimizing risks. So we won’t be driving back to Houston until next week, and have been instructed to take SHORT walks 3-4 times a day, rest, eat (which is a challenge because he cannot feel the entire right side of his tongue or teeth) and get good sleep. Balance, coordination, and working on dealing with double vision through daily therapy routines and exercises are our new goals. When we get back to Houston we will continue therapy at a rehabilitation facility. We are so beyond words blessed and excited about our new beginnings. Our hope is that complete lack of sensation on the total right side of his face and head, and double vision dissipates and corrects itself, but even if it does not, we are so grateful to be alive and pain free! Baby steps … ☺️
