Recovering from Surgery🙌🏼

Shane is doing well!  The doctors said the procedure was more complex than they even thought. They said they had never seen Trigeminal Neuralgia present itself like this from the basilar artery. And the size of his artery is at least 2 times the normal size, which added complexity and risk. Hence there were portions that the could not manipulate due to the risks. Additionally, unwrapping the ocular nerve and moving it was very unique as well. It is still not laying as it normally should lay, but it is not taunt and compressed. 
He has numbness all on the right side of his face, and has double vision (hence the eye patch, it was making him nauseous).

We just have to let it calm down and hopefully it will “reset”. They are hoping it goes away, but she gave no guarantees. Same with numbness. Hoping it goes away, and that there is no more presentation of TN. Not all nerves were able to be addressed and isolated due to risk factors, and only time will tell. 

But he is elated about not having ever present pain, and being able to eat, talk, and actually sleep without excruciating! Thank you, again for all your prayers and support for us on our journey🙏
