This update brought to you Via T-Rex typing arms: Everything went smoothly during the surgery on Thursday!

So far, post-op pain and discomfort feel about as anticipated. Was able to get out for a walk yesterday which felt good, and got a shower in today which felt even better.

Totally enjoying the distraction of having World Cup matches going on, and I have great support for these first days post surgery. Thanks for all the positive “Game Day” messages and comments - more updates to come soon!

Wishing you a speedy recovery!! An extra day of pain meds is always better than less. World Cup is a great distraction for the rest of the day. If you need a partial distraction , turn on the U.S. Open. We are sending our love!!

Hey, awesome niece!! Way to go on the surgery, and, now, working back to some happy normalcy! 🥰 . We are always in awe of you and how your strong spirit has propelled you through the tough stuff. May you now feel the peaceful calm, as your body starts to heal. But, you're allowed to yell during World Cup! Continuing the prayers. 🙏🏻We love you, kiddo!!
