Hair Chronicles

The hair fall out phase happened fast! My head starting feeling sore and tingly earlier in the week, and a day after that I started to notice it coming out in bigger sections. By the time we shaved it Wednesday I could pull out clumps with  a gentle pull or with a light brush.

Pictured: hair a few days before it started coming out. Rocking a Mohawk for about an hour (also tried to dye it unsuccessfully). And lastly, one lil swoopy bangs patch left before buzzing it completely off.

This last week has been very good in terms of energy level, appetite, and my white blood cell count improving. The Super Bowl is today, but Game Day is tomorrow! My mind body and spirit feel ready to go.

loved the Mohawk but glad it didn't last, kinda scary. Will be interesting to see how it grows back in; i have friends who have vastly different results. curly hair became straight and vice versa and color's even changed. what about your eyebrows? enjoy the game today. I hope it's a good one. we'll be sending you rays of energy tomorrow.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

I'll be sending plenty of love and positive thoughts tomorrow - then it will be 2 down! I like the pic with one little curl of hair. Although it does make me think of "There was a little girl, who had a little curl..." you know the rest!

You’re beautiful inside and out! You rock the bald look better than Uncle Jim (he said it, not me 😊) Sending you lots of love and prayers.

Sarah, we are praying for you! I'm glad you still have your sense of humor and ability to laugh. That's what I've always loved about you--that irreverent streak of mischief that led you to lean out into the aisle, catch my eye, and mimic my gestures. Stay on the lookout for the beautiful things in life, and treasure them in your hear always.
