Game day tomorrow: it will be the halfway point of chemotherapy! After round 2, I had a similar timeline of side effects, but overall had more energy and not as much nausea. So far after about day 8-9, my appetite and almost normal energy return. Perhaps having a better idea of what to expect helped with the total load this last round. Acupuncture has also helped significantly.

I’ve stayed committed to being as active as possible, and was able to do my favorite winter things outside this go around, including skiing and ice climbing. I still may lose them during the remaining rounds of chemotherapy, but so far the eyelash and eyebrow hair follicles are still hanging in!

It is not lost on me how lucky I am to have immense support and resources for this health journey. Thank you for your kindness and generosity in donations, check ins, and many other ways you are supporting me.
