Post surgical update

Sam will be getting discharged today. Apparently they only keep patients beyond one day if they require another immediate surgery, so they’ll ship her home to rest and recover there. 

She was sleeping when I arrived and nurses were in doing their test, but woke right up when I said I brought coffee!  She was in her typical cheerful mood and talking for a while but now went back down for a nap.
