Sam is doing awesome this morning! The ECMO machine is doing its job and they’re slowly taking her off of the sedatives. She’s responsive and opening her eyes a little bit to look at us. Their goal by the end of the day is to have her completely alert and aware of her surroundings so that she can start doing minor exercises to build her strength back up.
