Hello all,
Sam is continuing to make progress and has lots of energy. We are both shocked and in admiration of her resilience. We took her to the vet yesterday for her bandage change, and the vet says the infection in her foot is still concerning. Even with antibiotics, her body doesn't seem to be fighting off the infection completely. Our surgeon wants to do a culture so he can make sure he knows what antibiotic to give her. So, its another trip to Utah this weekend. We are so short on gas and we have no idea how much this doctor bill is going to be. Please, if anyone can help. We are heading down to Utah Saturday, the 3rd. Our home vet says it takes weeks to get results back from cultures they send out. So our only option is to go back to MedVet in Utah.
