June 19, 2026 Update

We are so excited because River is making a lot of progress right now. She has started saying "up," which is a big deal for her. It's one way she's learning to tell us what she wants and needs.

Right now, we are working hard with a lot of therapy to help River keep growing and learning new things. Each new skill means the world to us because we know how much effort River puts into every little achievement.

We feel so grateful for everyone who has shared in River’s journey. Every time you share her story, you help spread awareness about Aicardi syndrome (a rare disorder where the brain cannot form normally) and other rare conditions. This helps more families find support and hope.
