Well, I have some GOOD news to share! My brain MRI results came back today, and the radiologist's conclusion was "No imaging evidence of intracranial metastatic disease." In other words, NO SIGNS of melanoma having spread to my brain! My oncology team confirmed that there were no findings concerning for cancer, and I cannot even begin to tell you what a relief that is. With everything we've been finding out lately, I'll take every bit of good news I can get! I still have Stage III melanoma and plenty of treatment ahead of me, but this is one more important piece of the staging puzzle, and it came back with the answer I was desperately hoping for. 💜

Today has also been one of those absolutely ridiculous days where it feels like we've been trying to squeeze about three days' worth of responsibilities into one. Between coordinating appointments, getting everyone where they needed to be, keeping track of schedules, and driving all over the place, it's been nonstop. Not EVERYTHING has been medical, but for the most part, everyone had something medical going on today, and the timing of it all was TIGHT. LOL. It's honestly kind of amazing that we've managed to pull it all off.

And I really, REALLY need to acknowledge my mom here, because I genuinely don't know how I would have managed today without her. She's been helping keep this whole circus moving, doing all that driving, juggling things with me, and making sure everyone gets where they need to be. And we're STILL not done! I'm completely drained at this point, and she's going to make another trip to the pharmacy this afternoon to pick up my pain medication. She's exhausted too, I'm sure, and I don't think I can adequately express how much I appreciate her being there to help me get through all of this.

I've talked recently about the absolutely crushing fatigue I've been experiencing, and days like today really drive home just how much my body is struggling to keep up with everything my brain wants and needs to accomplish. It's frustrating to need so much help with things I've always tried to manage myself. I WANT to be able to do more, to keep up with everything, and to not feel like I need to sleep for half my life. But right now, that's just not the reality of what my body can handle. I'm trying to learn to accept that, even when it drives me a little crazy.

The good thing is that everything IS getting done, bit by bit. Appointments are happening, tests are being completed, medications are being managed, and we're slowly making our way toward starting treatment. There's still a lot ahead of us, and some days the logistics alone feel like a full-time job, but we're making progress. I know I couldn't manage all of this alone, and I'm incredibly grateful for the help I've been receiving, especially from my mom today.

And most importantly, today brought some genuinely GOOD news. No evidence of cancer in my brain. After the last several weeks, I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to have something turn out the way I'd hoped. It doesn't make everything else disappear, but it does give me a little more room to breathe, and right now, that means a whole lot.

One day, one appointment, one little victory at a time. And today, I'm counting this as a pretty big victory. 💜
