Hello!
I just wanted to follow up on our last update and say that we are indeed home again! Madeline’s blood counts shot up in the right direction Wednesday morning and we got to come home last night. She is certainly feeling and looking better. We had real smiles out of her and it was so good to see her spirit start to come back.
Munchkin’s birthday party was the highlight of the day for all of the girls. This dog is incredibly helpful to Madeline when she has to do hard things and we are so grateful that Munchkin is part of our medical team.
Hopefully we can stay home for awhile now. We don’t have any doctor appointments until Friday July 17th when we will go to Childrens in Milwaukee for Madeline’s surgery follow up and to have her kidney stent removed. We are so excited to have some days off to enjoy our summer!
