Hello again,

I am happy to say that today was a big improvement from yesterday. Madeline has not had a fever today and after receiving a blood transfusion overnight her color is better and her energy is up. Best case scenario we see her blood counts improve on labs tomorrow morning and we can go home in the afternoon after her chemotherapy and a few more doses of antibiotics.

Thank you all for praying us through every day. We got to close one chapter of this journey after completing her final radiation treatment this afternoon. I had to cry some happy tears when she “rang the bell.” These eight days of sedation and radiation were incredibly tough to watch and be a part of. I am so glad to be done and Madeline is as well.

Tomorrow is Munchkin’s (the therapy dogs) birthday. She is having a tea party birthday  here at the hospital and our girls cannot wait! They have fallen in love with this dog.

That is all for now! Pray for a quiet night and day tomorrow so we can go home!

We love you all.
