Last night was a rough one — Presley was up multiple times in the night due to intense migraine pain. It’s so hard to watch her go through it, but she continues to amaze me with her resilience.

This morning, Physical Therapy came again, and we saw a big step forward: Presley was able to sit up with assistance, which is more than she could tolerate yesterday. Not only that — she got into her wheelchair twice today, which felt like such a win! The movement, although minimal, is a sign her body is slowly adjusting and healing.

She also started switching a few of her medications from IV to oral today. The goal is to transition her fully off IV pain meds in the next couple of days, which would be another big milestone in her recovery.

There’s still a lot of discomfort, and her migraines are being closely monitored due to the ongoing concern around spinal fluid imbalance. But today, we’re choosing to celebrate every inch of progress — because every small step counts.
