We can't help but feel alarmed that Paula is often in the fever zone. Please pray that her numbers will normalize. I don't like this "new normal."Β
But we have the very best, most compassionate nursing team. They are personable, knowledgeable, relatable, compassionate, and expert. Arwen is on task this morning, and she's treating Paula professionally, with a radiating confidence that her fever today is nothing to worry about.Β
Our pastor's message this week from the life of David was a wonderful source of encouragement on my drive to and from the hospital on Monday. It was a reminder that, yes, I'm helpless, and that's kind of the point of having a faithful, loving, all-powerful Shepherd who is making me like Jesus.
