Hi everyone — Dads Home! We are thrilled that they released him today! The Doctors continue to be thrilled with his progress! Thank you Jesus! 

Dad’s doctors have asked us to be extra cautious with his exposure to people (and germs) right now due to the extent of his surgery, the trach site still being open (but healing), and the still limited area in his throat. Because of this, we’ve pushed the Meal Train Calendar out for a bit and we need to ask that there be no visitors for the time being. This time will ensure that we keep infection and sickness away and it will give us time to better understand what meals work best for him, as he’s currently very limited to soft foods and liquids.

He has a post-op appointment with his surgeons next week, and we’re hopeful we’ll have more clarity then — and possibly a broader diet.

 Thankfully, you all have been so amazing with sending gift cards for delivery and with financial support so mom has the ability to order what she’s needs for the time being! We are just blown away by your love and generosity!
